Frequently Asked Questions

Can biomagnetic therapy work with antibiotics?

Yes.  Biomagnetic therapy is compatible with traditional, conventional therapies and with other alternative therapies.

Are there any side effects?

No.  Biomagnetic therapy is safe, natural, noninvasive, and has no side effects beyond the natural detoxification processes for clearing the pathogens from the body.

Are there any contraindications?

Yes.  Individuals with implanted electrical devices, such as pacemakers or insulin pumps, should not receive biomagnetic therapy, nor should individuals undergoing or having recently undergone chemotherapy.

How long does biomagnetic therapy process take?

Treatment length depends on how chronic and complex your pathogen burden is.  Many clients experience improvement in symptoms after a few to several sessions.  For clients with a significant pathogen burden the treatment process takes longer.

How does biomagnetic therapy differ from conventional western medicine?

Western medicine applies the lock-and-key model to treating disease:  a particular antibiotic "key" is designed to target and neutralize the "lock" on a particular pathogen.  This model works well for pathogens that don't tend to mutate, such as the bacteria that causes strep throat; when the lock doesn't change, the same key continues to work.  Unfortunately, tick-borne pathogens mutate quickly, invalidating the traditional therapeutic approach to disease.

Why do antibiotics work to treat Lyme in some people?

Under ideal circumstances, antibiotics are intended to eliminate enough of the active pathogens so the immune system can address the rest.  However, if the immune system isn't strong enough to kill the rest, the pathogens remain present even if the individual isn't symptomatic.  Lots of factors contribute to a sub-optimally functioning immune system - poor diet, environmental toxins (air, water, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, etc.), stress, illnesses, genetic predispositions, allergies, digestive and other underlying inflammatory problems, etc.

Tick pathogens are notorious for going "stealth" -  finding places in the body to hide from the immune system and/or antibiotic defenses.  These are often areas with little to no blood flow such as scar tissue, moles, tattoos, incision sites, etc.
